Advanced Manufacturing

New Zealand is facing declining rates of productivity, and manufacturing is not exempt. Yet, many New Zealand manufacturers don’t understand advanced manufacturing terminology, and how implementing smart products and process could rapidly increase productivity. Our challenge was to educate manufacturers on advanced manufacturing, position Callaghan Innovation as leading change in the manufacturing sector and increase engagement with Callaghan’s Advanced Manufacturing products and services.

Starting with the basics, we ran a brand and messaging workshop to understand the foundations of the Advanced Manufacturing branch of Callaghan Innovation. This enabled us to address any confusion from the sector. Once brand and messaging was solidified, we crafted a comprehensive communications plan, refreshed website language, formed social media channels, and built an email newsletter (eDM) with consistent brand and messaging. Following success of initial brand work, we assisted with media relations, video production, and continued to manage social media (both organic and paid) and email newsletters.
