Parangarehu
Parangarehu is Wellington’s newest hidden gem. The whānau-owned and led, high-end accommodation is nestled on previously inaccessible land along the South Coast. Just 30 minutes from the nearest town, it feels a world away, and is the perfect chance to disconnect from life and reconnect with nature and a loved one.
Parangarehu came to us as a business initiative with a strong vision and purpose. Our task was to create a brand identity that reflected the powerful stories, values and wairua (spirit) of the whenua (land) and ahi kā (people keeping the fires burning). Simultaneously, we aimed to build a brand that would be as visually stunning as the accommodation, and reflective of its luxury, secluded and cultural nature.
Through collaborative strategy and messaging sessions, we immersed ourselves in the Parangarehu story. This enabled us to craft a full brand identity – including creating the name, a logo, key messaging, and brand kit, all tied up in both a wider brand strategy and marketing strategy. This was fed into a website, social media, and digital advertising channels.
